Developing Indigenous partnerships with industry opportunities- October 12, 2017

After a successful event the last four years, Lloydminster will host the fifth Economic Partnership Summit on October 12th at the Lloydminster Exhibition Grounds. The morning will include educational sessions that evaluate successful indigenous and non-indigenous business partnerships.

Based on feedback from business, we will be launching a new portion in the afternoon called Business Connections. Business Connections will allow indigenous and non-indigenous businesses to make real business deals or partnerships, a form of constructive networking where, upon request, meetings will be coordinated with those in attendance. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the meetings! This is where business partnerships will be formed!

“I thought the inaugural Indigenous Economic Partnership Summit in Lloydminster was a great success! On behalf of Lloydminster City Council, we would like to thank the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce and all the First Nations organizers for bringing First Nations people, band chiefs, businesses, local municipal, provincial, federal governments, and educational institutions together for a day of networking and information sharing. We certainly look forward to the next I- Summit in Lloydminster.”

The City of Lloydminster is the sponsor of the VIP Dinner for 2015, 2016 & 2017

The newly introduced Business Connections will provide the opportunity to build constructive partnerships.

At the Economic Partnership Summit, we will coordinate meetings with businesses in attendance to sit down, one on one to discuss business opportunities.
